Iksan Edu Board starts a good parenting session to give parents practical tips on how to improve relationship with kids Parent-training groups will be led by experts who can give tips on how to improve relationship with kids, effective communication, understanding child psychology, controlling emotions and how to modify behaviors of their children over three sessions.
This session will be a valuable time for parents who are looking into ways to improve their relationship with their children and want to reinforce positive behaviors and avoid harsh parenting.
Growing evidence shows that parent-training groups are cost-effective in reducing children's disruptive behaviors, the researchers wrote in their study.
Provincial Edu board official said, "We're trying to offer classes that can actually help parents and there will be more training sessions like this later on, so keep your eyes peeled for these opportunities."
In addition, Jeonbuk Provincial Edu Board offers online class led by a writer Ji Sung Lee who wrote "Dreaming attic" and "Lead to Read."
The online session is designed to provide some help on finding the right career for kids. This online class is offered from the 14th to the 25th of May and anybody who lives in the area can sign up for the session and 500 people will be able to take the course on a first-come-first-serve basis. The registration will start 9 o'clock in the morning on the 7th until the midnight of 13th at www.teacher21.co.kr.
