Lee Eun Joo is a teacher at Wonkwang girls’ middle school.

She is also the two-time champion in Asian Line Dance competition.

The Asian Line Dance competition was held in Malaysia on August 10^th and she won at the Newcomer Female Diamond and Silver.  

She is a dance teacher and fell in love with Line dancing.

She is trying to popularize Line Dance and working on her career as a Line dancer by competing in the domestic and international dance competitions.

She started Line dancing for fun but she now sees it as another career opportunity.

“There is no Line dance organization in Iksan yet so I want to form one when I have enough experience,” said Lee.

The dance moves seem easy to follow.

She had to memorize and carefully organize the moves so it took her long time to prepare for the competition even though she only had two three weeks to prepare for it.

“I sprained my ankle and had a knee injury because I practiced too much. Whenever I got tired of it, I just listened to the music and it just worked,” she added.

 Lee’s experience as a dance teacher helps a lot when it comes to line dancing.

Her moves are fabulous and vivid compared to other contestants.

It helps her express her feelings and emotions freely through the music and she is good at it.

She teaches parents and teachers line dancing twice a week for free.

“After the interview with Iksan press I get many calls a day asking about the class. There is no dancing room and I started this free lesson for my colleagues and parents so I don’t think I am ready to take any students yet,” said Lee.

I will do my best to let others know how fun it is to dance.

“I just started line dancing for fun. I did not know I’d won any kind of award. I am going to train hard and enjoy myself through dancing,” added the teacher.
