Korean Poly Technology College Iksan campus achieved the second highest employment rate in the nation this year. It established itself as the nation’s top vocational school whose employment rate reaches about 92 percent according to the national statistics on colleges and universities. The graduates proved themselves as competent workers who meet the local industries’ need. The institution is also designated as the center for cultivating quality manpower. 

Because of this great employment turnout, they were awarded with the medal for the best vocational school. The poly technology college Iksan campus offers various curriculums called FL system, which is very similar to any job sites. The onsite education will greatly help students adjust to their work place quickly without any special training.

The faculty members visit the businesses before they help their students get a job at a particular work place in order to satisfy students and business’ need. The school also offers small group classes where 15 or so students can work with one professor so they can help their students more thoroughly and foster good qualities.

The school also has an agreement with 17 companies, which allows students go work and study at the same time. The 17 companies are appointed as leading companies in the field by the government. It also offers technician training program for jewelry industry since jewelry manufacturing is the city’s main industry. The institution encourages local medium sized companies to participate in their training programs so students can improve skills, which will strengthen the competitiveness in the job market.
